Accessibility on our website

This website is run by the Scottish Health Technolgies Group (SHTG), part of Healthcare Improvement Scotland. We want as many people as possible to be able to access our website, and therefore we offer a plug-in called the UserWay Website Accessibility Widget which provides various accessibility functions.

To apply the widget when visiting our web pages, please click on the 'Accessibility' button that appears in the top-right corner of each webpage. The accessibility menu will load after a few moments.

We are committed to making to making our website and information available to everyone.

We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible. For example, PDF documents do not have the functionality for a screen reader. We are exploring ways to present our advice in different ways, as we believe that it is our collective moral obligation to allow seamless, accessible and unhindered use of the services we provide.

We aim to comply with the AA requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines link opens in a new window (WCAG 2.1). This is an ongoing process of re-evaluation and we are continually working to make our website more accessible for people with disabilities as technology and standards allow.

Here for you

If you experience difficulties with any content on our website or need help with any part of our site, please contact us and we will be happy to help.
